Author Biography

José Alejandro Torres Covarrubias , University Of Colima

José Alejandro Torres Covarrubias has a BA in social communication with honors from the Faculty of Letters and Communication of the University of Colima. Member of the Kaleidoscope research network and prominent collaborator at the University Center for Social Research (CUIS). Coordinator of scientific dissemination projects in prestigious institutions such as El Colegio de Michoacán, CEMCA, INAH, AIS and Universidad de Colima. My research focus covers communication for development and social change, the democratization of knowledge, rural and community communication, as well as relevant issues of university students and social inequalities.

La portada tiene un fondo color mostaza intenso, que transmite una sensación cálida, tradicional y cercana. En el centro, debajo del título, hay una imagen en blanco y negro que parece un dibujo o ilustración artística con trazo manual. Esta ilustración representa un paisaje rural o de montaña, con un edificio blanco, alto y estrecho al centro: es una torre que podría tratarse de una iglesia o capilla, con una sola ventana cuadrada cerca de la cúspide y un pequeño remate puntiagudo en lo alto.
