Prodigious Animals
Keywords:

This book is the result of many years of fantasies. I have lived passionately about animals and fabulous beings. Since I was a child, I enjoyed reading Greek mythology: gorgons, sphinxes, sirens and minotaurs populated my childhood dreams. When I grew up, I felt the need to recreate them and as this paraphrase was insufficient for me, I was forced to invent new prodigious figures.
Now I gather all my fantastic beings and I grant them a certain sense of classification. Added together, they are not only an unlikely zoo, but also a prominent facet of my literary work: the one I prefer. Where the realm of the incredible predominates. They are in no way a form of evasion. They interpret the terrible reality that overwhelms us and at times, suffocates us with its weight.
